Tristan Shipman, MA, ECSE
Tristan Shipman is a Licensed Early Childhood Special Education Teacher in the state of Colorado with over six years of experience working with infants, toddlers, and their families. Currently, she specializes in working with children birth to age three and their families, providing in-home Early Intervention services. Tristan feels passionately about working with children who have significant medical needs and seizure disorders, vision impairments, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and language delays among others.
Tristan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2008 from The University of Northern Colorado. She earned a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education in 2012 from The University of Phoenix while working in the Early Intervention field as a Service Coordinator/Case Manager. Along with her Master’s degree she received her Colorado Teacher’s License with added endorsements in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. Tristan has received continuing education in Autism Spectrum Disorders & Early Intervention, Internal Developmental Capacity & External Factors that Impact Functioning, and Sensory Integration. She has participated in the following trainings: Acquired/Traumatic Brain Injury in Young Children; Effects & Interventions, Early Start Denver Model (Introductory workshop), Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) Training & BABIES Infant IFSP Training.
When Tristan isn’t working, she’s spending time with her family, friends, and her two dogs. She enjoys camping, hiking, and exploring all that the Colorado outdoors has to offer.
